Message here goes. I have put about 5000 miles on my motor from kyle and it runs great!!! I do have some issues though that I would like to share, and maybe someone give me some advice here. First I was having a lot of blowby, my dipstick was popping at around 17psi. I have new pcv valves, but reused the old hoses since they were bought only a year ago. I also have done the pcv re-route. Today I had a chance to look things over, and I found that the hose that comes off the pcv valve on the drivers side had no restrictor in it! The rest were fine. I found a nut I had in my garage that almost looked exactly the same so i put it in, and it snugged in perfectly. I then cleaned the rest of the hoses ( had lots of oil in the back ones). I also did a compression check to make sure and got 170 all around which is awesome, cuz at 2000 miles I had 158 all around, which means my rings have sealed very well! I just need to drive around now to see if the dipstick still pops. Second issue is with my turbos. I have JWT 530bb's with a manual boost controller set to 17 psi. when i get on it in 3rd and 4th the boost goes to 17 kinda slowly, not as fast as my sport 500's did, and my car doesnt seem to be any quicker with these turbo's in fact it feels slower! I did a boost leak check about 2000 miles ago and found a few small leaks and fixed them. I am going to do another one tomorrow. What else could possibly cause this slow boost issue? Also when i was installing the turbos, I noticed that on the passenger side the wastegate control rod was very close to the oil fitting on the block, but it moved without touching it. Could it be that now its touching? and the wastegate isnt operating properly??
Any insent on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thnx
